Age Calculator
What is Age Calculator?
The Age Calculator works out your exact age from a date of birth, down to the year, month and day — plus the total number of days you have been alive. It is useful for form filling, eligibility checks, birthday planning, or simple curiosity.
How to use Age Calculator
Enter your date of birth in the date field. The result updates instantly and shows your age broken down into years, months and days, along with your total days lived, calculated against today's date. Optionally set an "age as of" date to see your age on any other date — past or future — instead of today.
How it works
The calculator takes a reference date (today, or your chosen "age as of" date) and your date of birth, then works out the difference in calendar years, months and days (adjusting for different month lengths and leap years), plus the raw day count between the two dates.
Example
If you were born on 15/08/1995 and today is 25/08/2026, the calculator shows 31 years, 0 months, 10 days — and around 11,000+ total days lived.
Understanding your result
"Years, months, days" is your calendar age the way people normally say it. "Total days lived" is a simple day count from birth to today, which is handy for medical forms, milestones, or just seeing the number in full.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this work with DD/MM/YYYY dates?
Yes — the calculator uses your device's native date picker, so it follows whatever date format your phone or browser is set to, including DD/MM/YYYY as used in Bangladesh.
Is my date of birth sent anywhere?
No. The calculation happens entirely in your browser — your date of birth is never uploaded or stored.
Why is the day count sometimes different from what I expect?
Calendar months have different lengths (28–31 days), so the years/months/days breakdown accounts for that, which can look different from a simple "days ÷ 365" estimate.
Can I calculate age on a date other than today?
Yes — use the optional "Age as of" field to see the exact age on any past or future date, such as for a visa application, exam eligibility, or a future milestone.
